The European Association for Research on Learning and Instruction, and two of its special interest groups have collaborated this year with the MOFET Institute – The National Institute for research and Program Development in Teacher Education and Education in Israel to create an international conference.
This joint conference of MOFET, SIG11 and SIG13 will allow us to connect insights from Teaching and Teacher Education with perspectives from Moral and Democratic Education to approach the topic of diversity within classrooms and societies. This subject highlights the relevance of teachers for moral and democratic education and the importance of moral and democratic education for teachers' professional development. By joining the two SIG communities, we aim to develop a unique and relevant perspective on the academic and practical implications of diversity.
Young researchers are especially invited to participate and join the JURE network, and we encourage experienced researchers to include their doctoral students.
